So who is this guy and why is he blogging?

Hi. My name’s Keith Hudgins, and I’m a Linux sysadmin with a background in e-commerce, online marketing, and enabling small businesses with big business technology. I’ve been running websites and server farms for over 10 years, been webmaster for some semi-high-profile websites (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport for one), and generally trying really hard to stay afloat in the rising tide of the IT industry. It’s not easy.

Through luck or pluck, I still don’t know, I’ve had the opportunity to learn and manage some cutting-edge systems, and learn how you can architect some pretty cool solutions using broad commodity products. I’m talking here about these kinds of things, especially cloud computing and new, virtualized infrastructure.
